Dr.
Green’s practice is health-focused, offering a surgical intervention
in the fight against obesity. He completed a fellowship in advanced
laparoscopy and bariatric surgery in Washington, D.C. and his
specialty covers a range of bariatric surgery treatments.
Dr.
Green graduated cum laude from Prairie View A&M University. He
received his medical degree from Indiana University School of
Medicine, and completed his training in general surgery at the
University of Illinois College of Medicine at St. Francis Medical
Center in Peoria, Ill. Dr. Green also completed a fellowship in
advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery at Providence Hospital in
Washington, D.C.
He is a diplomat of the
American College of Surgeons, and a member of the
National Medical Association, the American Society of
Bariatric Surgeons (ASBS), the Society of
Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and the Society of
Black Academic Surgeons.
